Currently writing and recording track two for a collection of songs with a certain upcoming film in mind. Stoked to be collaborating with Jeff Zacharski in Nashville on this one. Looks like production for the next track will wrap in June and I won't be able to keep it to myself. Can't wait to share. :) XoXo
Taking a couple months off to hibernate (and snowboard) and stuff. Looking forward to an amazing 2014 with lots more new music ahead.
Thrilled to have released my newest song today. I cowrote this one with Jeremy Levy. Really happy with how it turned out. More in the works... XoXo
(First response to 'Anything' from one of my favorite music licensing people: "OMFG! This is fantastic! Wow. Totally blown away. Hot, sultry and sexy. Congrats. Home run!")
Available on iTunes and Amazon (and arriving at most other online outlets as the day progresses).
Starting today, I'll be donating 10% of all CD and song download sales to The Alliance for Children’s Rights, an amazing organization dedicated to protecting the rights of impoverished, abused and neglected children and youth here in Los Angeles. Please join me in supporting a great cause.
Today I joined The Recording Academy. Looking forward to my first year as a voting member for the GRAMMY Awards as well as getting involved with the MusiCares and GRAMMY Foundation charities.
Kind of surprised to find this today. Not sure who Samson is, but it's an interesting remix. Found this while searching the web for "Cutting the Chase" (the alt title used by a previous producer who at one point claimed 100% ownership of my song catalog under false titles). Crazy stuff. Ahh... the music business is a fun business. Surprises around every corner. Cool remix though...
Had a great time at "The Wild World of User Generated Content and Streaming" panel discussion in Beverly Hills today. The event was organized by The Association of Independent Music Publishers, a group I recently joined. Great people. Lots of fun. Awkward moment on the panel regarding the "real" percentage of payments Spotify pays artists. Quite entertaining. Looking forward to checking out more of of AIMP's upcoming events.
